Lip Blush Tattoo
Lip Blush Tattoo offers a subtle yet transformative approach to achieving fuller, beautifully defined lips using naturally pigmented shades, expertly blended within or slightly beyond your natural lip contour. We cater to your unique lip vision, whether it's a bold, defined look or a more delicate, shaded finish. Imagine the convenience of applying just a clear gloss or lip balm to accentuate your symmetrical, irresistibly kissable lips.
PRE-TREATMENT
To ensure a smooth healing process, we recommend taking lysine or a cold sore preventative 7 – 10 days prior to your Lip Blush Tattoo appointment. This proactive step helps minimize the chances of cold sores developing during the lip healing phase.
On the day of your procedure, we apply a topical anesthetic to your lips before commencing the consultation and design phase. Typically, we select a deeper hue for the lip outline and transition to a softer, creamier shade at the center, creating the illusion of a fuller 'pout.' It's essential to understand that we can't lighten the natural tone of your lips in the process.
As the tattoo heals, the pigment will intensify in colour. Hence, it's advisable to plan your appointment around important events like weddings, birthdays, or significant business meetings. If you have any doubts, please consult with us before booking.
POST-TREATMENT
The pigment reaches its most vibrant state 24 – 48 hours after the initial treatment, and the outer layer of dry skin begins to peel. Lip Blush Tattoo aftercare is simple. Avoid touching the treated area with your fingertips and apply a nourishing antiseptic cream twice daily. It's equally important to abstain from exfoliants, oils, lipsticks, and spicy foods for at least one week. We recommend a retouch appointment within 6 – 8 weeks to address any fading inconsistencies and ensure crisp lip definition. This is also an opportunity for minor color adjustments. Expect your lip colour to fade by approximately 25–50% after both sessions, with peeling lasting 3–7 days, depending on your skin type.
Your Lip Blush Tattoo typically lasts between 3–5 years, but this duration depends on your skin's unique chemistry, your skincare products, and exposure to environmental elements. We do not recommend this procedure if you have existing lip fillers or injections, as it can affect the results once these treatments wear off. Please allow 7 days before applying makeup to areas treated by cosmetic tattoo.
Treatment Time: 2-3 hours
